Online and Interactive EFT Training, Beginning June 6th, 2020
Next EFT L1/L2 Training Course
Due to COVID safety considerations, EFT International (the association of which I am a Trainer member) is recommending that scheduled in-person trainings be postponed or run in an online format for the foreseeable future, until such a time as we can safely hold 'in-person' courses again.
Whether you're a layperson looking to help yourself, friends or family, a coach or a healthcare professional looking to integrate tapping into your work with clients, this workshop is designed to give you all the necessary skills to get you started using EFT confidently and skillfully. No previous experience is required. Online Training FAQs
What if I miss a class?
So you don’t get behind, I highly recommend you attend every class. However, sometimes life gets in the way. If you cannot make it to a class, you can try to keep up by listening to/watching the recording and also practicing during the week with one of your practice buddies. Due to privacy concerns, live demonstrations from the class may not be included in the recording. You can also attend a make-up class (at additional cost, see below).
Note for Certification-candidates: If you're planning to pursue certification at any point and you miss a class, not only will you need to watch the recording and complete the practice session for that class on your own time, you will be required to complete additional mentoring and/or a make up class (at additional cost). Please write email@example.com to discuss your options.
How can I practice during the week?
During each class you’ll practice the tapping skills with a few other students (and an experienced practitioner, including me at times) in individual 'breakout' rooms on Zoom. In the week between classes, you’ll have the option of connecting with your practice buddies to again practice the skills you've learned. Extra practice during the week is optional, but highly recommended.
Will I receive Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for the course?
*Yes. If you are eligible for NASW CECs, this combined L1/L2 course has been approved for 21 Continuing Education Credit Hours (CECs) by NASW/CT and meets the continuing education criteria for Social Work Licensure (Connecticut LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW and licensed psychologist renewal).
I’m interested in pursuing certification down the road. Is there an in-person requirement for EFT International Accredited Certification?
**Yes. Currently any student pursuing Accredited Certification with EFT International must attend 21 hours of in-person training. However, these rules are pre-COVID and are being revised. Though I cannot promise you will not have to attend the in-person course, I am hopeful the rules will be adjusted to reflect our new reality - one where in-person trainings are simply not safe enough to attend, and online training will be the better option for the foreseeable future.
If I take this online course but decide to pursue certification, does my tuition also cover the in-person course?
Yes. If you take the online course and EFTi decides (see above) that you need the in-person course to satisfy Accredited Certification requirements, you are welcome at the in-person course at no additional cost.
Once you complete an EFT Level 1 and EFT Level 2 combined course (both online and a future in-person component), you can pursue a path to Accredited EFT Certification with EFT International.
This tapping course meets and exceeds EFT International standards for EFT tapping education. EFT International is the world’s original and largest professional, global and non-profit EFT association.
Currently there is an -in-person' course requirement for achieving Accredited Certification with EFT International. This rule has been to prioritize in-person training, but is being revised due to COVID considerations. For questions regarding certification, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellation Policy, Use of Recordings, Disclaimer and Informed Consent Agreement
Sometimes there are unforeseen events and we need to cancel. For cancellations outside of 14 days, I offer a full refund less a non-refundable $50 administrative fee. For inside 14 days, please get in touch to discuss your options: email@example.com. In the event a course must be cancelled for any reason, registered attendees will be offered a full refund.
Use of Recordings
During the course, I'll be recording our class (to the Zoom cloud) so that attendees can watch/listen and reflect upon the class. This recording will largely focus on my teaching points and our discussion Q & A, but it may also include recording of demonstrations, which can be sensitive in nature. As a participant you agree not to share our recordings with anyone outside of our class. As a teacher, I will do the same and further pledge to have your express consent before distributing any sensitive moment later (via recording) to the class.
Students who volunteer to be demonstrations will need to 'opt-in' and give express verbal consent to have their session recorded, otherwise recording will pause during the demonstration.
By registering for the course, you agree to take full responsibility for your own emotional, mental and physical well-being during and after EFT training, and that you are prepared to participate in EFT training (including practice sessions with me, my assistant(s) or other students in the class). This training [EFT Level 1 and Level 2 Training, March 2019] was cohesive, gentle and flowed. Everything led seamlessly into the next section. Unlike some trainings I've attended in the past no one person stood out as pulling focus or taking up more space than any other. The space was SAFE, respectful and kind. I believe you created a container that allowed everyone to get their needs met in a way that happened with grace and ease. You don't overcomplicate anything AND you know how to teach to the essence instead of trying to throw in every single tool or concept and subsequently muck up the process – Jennifer Moore, Author, EFT Trainer and Mentor
I got so much more out of this weekend training [EFT Level 1 and Level 2 Training, November 2018] than I ever expected to. Jade is an incredible instructor and does such a great job of explaining things in a very practical and heartfelt way – Lindsay McElvey
The course [EFT Level 1 and Level 2 Training, June 2017] went so quick as it was so informative and interactive. Really enjoyed the whole experience, even when vulnerabilities were coming up out of nowhere – Helen Collins, LCSW

The clear and simple presentation of the information was invaluable in helping to utilize the technique in the most effective way. I'd been practicing EFT on myself with success for seven years, but I did not have the knowledge or confidence to help others until I took your excellent courses [EFT Level 1 and Level 2, 2014, co-taught with Jondi Whitis]. I am privileged to have learned at the hands of such experienced, compassionate, and artful practitioners – Terry Hernon
The quality of connection Jade and Jondi made available [EFT Level 1 and Level 2, April 2018] was phenomenal from the moment we were greeted. The example they set as far as compassion and openness towards everybody through out the entire weekend allowed me to deepen my understanding of how powerful receiving that quality of attention can be. The course content was organized and delivered well, I did not feel like i was ever lost or confused through out the weekend because everything was backed up with plenty of examples, demos, & every question got answered. Getting to experience my own growth though the weekend and have my own story with EFT is what will stick with me the most as my motivation to keep utilizing tapping my self as well as to deepen my ability to give another person my compassionate curious awareness to help where ever I go – Gary Chennette, LMT

3 days of relaxation and calm [EFT Level 1 and Level 2, April 2018]... You can't put a price tag on that! Not knowing what to expect - I came away with an awesome sense of new ideas and affirmation that I am on the correct path. The "Container" is something I will definitely use and have just today. Needing to send something into space with no return trip agenda! Love it and felt an enormous rush of relief – Stacy Altomari
As an educator and person with a variety of interests, I have been to MANY workshops, conferences, and professional development courses, both for personal growth and professional growth. MANY. This [EFT Level 1 and Level 2, November 2016] was the best workshop I have ever attended in terms of the presentation of the materials. Normally, I am so busy taking notes, despite the hand-outs and copies of powerpoints, that I miss observing the nuances of the presenter. You are so thorough in your presentation of the material, that for the first time ever I could sit back and be fully present in the presentation of the materials rather than busily taking notes – Deb Hill, Teacher/Educator
The weekend [EFT Level 2, 2015] was powerful and life-changing. The skills Jade taught for trauma and for physical pain were the most meaningful for me, on a professional level as I continue my therapeutic work with trauma-affected clients, and on a personal level with my own physical issues (migraines). After the EFT demo with Jade, I experienced an immediate reduction in the pain intensity of my headache, and the morning after the training I had the pleasure of waking up for the first time in several days with no neck or head pain. As symptoms came up during the day, I used the EFT that I learned to manage them – Kate Coffey, LCSW
I enjoyed meeting people and hearing their stories [EFT Level 1 and Level 2, April 2018]. I felt more relaxed as we tapped through the weekend. I thought Jade and Jondi explained things very clearly. It was extremely helpful that each skill was broken down and a practice session was modeled – Melissa Hoon, LCSW
Fabulous. The course [EFT Level 1 and Level 2, April 2018] held my attention, my interest, my participation at a very high level. Tapping is with me, thus far, when I rise and when I retire for the day – Cheri Brown, Family Advocate and Health Coach
I gained so much from the weekend. I loved the sense of kinship and kindness within the group. I loved the generosity of the trainers in sharing their own experiences. I learned so much, but it never felt like a dry classroom experience, but rather like a sharing of expertise. I cannot thank you enough! – Barbara Green, RN MPH
Was really just blown away by this experience... by the end of the first day I was completely energized, engaged and relaxed. Jade, Julie, Kimberly and Susan could not have been more attuned and helpful. Overall, this was an amazing experience – Jackie Brady, Psychotherapist
[The EFT Level 1 and Level 2 course, June, 2017] was transformational, to put it into one word. Gentle experiential learning, discussion...well balanced. Great support from mentors as well. Loved it!! — Dorothy Dinigris, Registered Certified Holistic Nurse
EFT has been the only thing that has been able to take the lingering charge out of my trauma that I didn't even know was still there. The weekend [EFT Level 1 and Level 2, June 2017] was a great bonding experience with like-minded people and refreshing to know that there are many wonderful people out there! – Nancy Hendricks, Landscaper
The Level 1 EFT workshop [EFT Level 1, August 2012} was so wonderful. Learning in a small, intimate and safe environment made understanding the material much easier. Additionally, getting hands-on practice with the principles was priceless. You are extremely skilled at creating an environment that is both safe and comfortable, as well as educational – Mara Glatzel
I want to thank you for the excellent [EFT Level 1, June 2011] workshop you taught this past weekend. I think you are an excellent teacher: your pedagogy was clear, well delineated and thorough. You demonstrated infinite patience as we stumbled through grasping the principles and you were most helpful and graceful in coaching and encouraging us to take a chance on getting slapped - we always got kissed! You are a heart-centered man, strong yet gentle, caring and energetic in your passion and commitment to EFT. You are a good teacher and a great therapist and I am warmly and deeply appreciative of being able to learn EFT from you. I look forward to many more exciting adventures with EFT and you – Billy King
I just wanted to let you know that this last level 2 class [June 2011] was really a turning point for me. I used to think of EFT as a great tool, but now I realize that EFT has become the method for me - it's a part of my thinking now in helping others shift. It's that part of EFT that allows the practitioner to open the flow of communication while tapping - the back and forth interaction - that really clicks for me. It feels like a gentle but oh so very effective way to get to the source of the issue. I am truly amazed - and love it even more. Thanks Jade! – Isa Oury
It was an amazing experience [EFT Level 1, June 2011]. The content was informative and provided enough skills to get started practicing EFT. Jade is an excellent teacher and a gentle soul. He taught with poise and patience. He is a master at delivery and has a creative approach to EFT that was quite engaging. The weekend was an awesome experience. Excited to come up again for Level 2 – Julie Banks
Jade and Betty, your classes have helped my work. I am having fantastic results still every day with parts work, inner child and Inner Theatre. You are such a blessings in my life – Gillian Wightman
Your programs are some of our most popular. It seems like everyone leaves your workshops with a smile on their face! – Wendy O'Connell, Rockingham Free Public Library
[During the EFT Level 1 and Level 2 courses, 2012] I felt affirmed. It was a heartwarming experience, and the hands on practice was so helpful - I'm much clearer about how to proceed and still basking in the afterglow. Thank you – Anne Wallace-Senft
The most helpful part of the class [EFT Level 3, ,October 2015] was the big picture approach rather than just adding specific skills. The broad view allowed me to pull everything together and I feel more confident now. I have learned that I can be flexible in my approach now that I am confident of the basic skills. I find that allowing a client to complete the sentence following the word “because….” is a great door opener to deeper work – Margaret Creeth LPC
Jade is a skilled and masterful teacher. His desire to set you up for success and genuine desire for students to receive, digest and integrate the material is clearly evident. Jade models a knowledgeable, powerful and sensitive art of delivery and his teaching style meets people where they are. One of the most valuable take-aways [EFT Level 3, October 2015] for me is in letting the process do the work. There was a deepening of this awareness for me and not only does that help me, it is helping my clients. I also loved the “squeeze the lemon” technique. This is so valuable! – Kimberly Francano, Newly Qualified Trainer, EFT International
I have been able to let go ‘the need to fix’ with so many people in so many ways – letting go of the need to give advice. The psychologist in me likes that. As a psychologist, I was trained to analyze and problem solve and figure things out about and for a person. What I like about the EFT process is that my role is to provide the environment to allow the person to find their way. You’ve helped me work on the EFT practitioner part of me, and that’s the piece I was missing — Paula Houck, Psychologist
It was a pleasure to watch Jondi and Jade work together so seamlessly as they presented this workshop. Neither one seemed to have a need to dominate, rather they tossed ideas and concepts easily back and forth. Both were experts in the field, and the was plenty of humor to go around – Linda Hopper
